Our story

It started with a question

In 2018, Marnix was on a surf trip in Cape Town. Beautiful beaches, endless waves, and plastic bottles everywhere. But something didn’t add up. Why were we shipping water halfway around the world when it was already coming out of our taps?

Back home, he couldn’t shake the question. The alternatives weren’t good enough, so he decided to build something better.

Marnix builds with intensity and lives with intention. As CEO he leads Aquablu’s vision, strategy and product innovation, with one ambition: to fundamentally reinvent the beverage industry.

Marc van Zuylen

Co-founder & CCO

Marc turns ideas into traction. As CCO he leads Aquablu’s commercial side: the markets it enters, the partners it grows with, and the deals that get the system into offices from Paris to Stockholm.
